Hello, My name is Joseph, I am a British photographer based in Paris. There’s always a moment; a glance, a laugh, a hand quietly taken, that tells you everything about two people, a family, or a group of friends. Those are the moments I live for. I’ve been photographing these stories in Paris for over ten years, whether it’s a love story, a holiday, or the chaotic joy of a family reunion. My approach is simple: I stay out of the way, keep things relaxed, and let what’s real come to the surface. I watch and wait, catching what’s actually happening instead of what you think you should be doing for the camera. Just your people, as they are, in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The result is images that don’t just show you how things looked, but how they felt.
