Hello, my name is Katerina, I’m a portrait photographer in Paris. I moved here from Istanbul and fell in love with this city — the light, the streets, the way people look when they’re just living their lives. Paris is the city of love, after all — love for yourself, for your partner, for your family, for the little moments that pass too quickly. I really love people, and I love all kinds of shoots — couples, solo portraits, families, tourists exploring the city. Usually the people who come to shoot with me have never done a professional photoshoot before. We walk a lot, talk, I show you beautiful spots — and somewhere in between, we take pictures. It feels like a walk with a friend, not a photoshoot. Even kids and men feel comfortable. I’m always looking for the moment when someone forgets the camera is there — that’s the one.
